Night Porter
The hotel night porter team are responsible for ensuring that all guests on site have a great experience and that they understand where they need to go and what other activities and facilities are on-site and in the local area. The hotel night porter must be warm, friendly, confident and eager to talk to customers. Porters to be responsible for the safety of the guests and hotel overnight.
Responsible for answering phone calls and emails, booking hotel and glamping stays, and any general enquiries relevant to the hotel and glamping. The hotel night porter will be expected to help other teams during busy periods while on shift, especially at the bar and restaurant. The porter also ensures all safety and security checks are completed thoroughly.
Key Skills
A Night Porter must be confident to warmly welcome visitors to our site. They must be knowledgeable about the hotel, glamping site and have good knowledge of the surrounding area.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Well-motivated and able to work on own initiative. Ability to undertake security and maintenance checks. Hands-on approach to Night duties.
The role of the Night porter is to assist throughout the night shift in relation to hotel and guest welfare, and reception duties as well as maintaining the agreed standards of cleanliness throughout the hotels.
Basic computer skills include navigating the internet, using email, and understanding file management is advantageous.
A driving licence would be advantageous but not essential.
Front of House/Reception Team member
Front of House is responsible for answering phone calls and emails, booking hotel and glamping stays, and any general enquiries relevant to the hotel and glamping. They are also the main greeter at the hotel and will be required to answer questions on all there is to offer in the area and North Wales. Knowledge and understanding of what our guests can experience while staying with us is crucial, and to also have confidence in talking in a relaxed manner and suggest things and places to experience. The Front of House team will be expected to help other teams during busy periods while on shift, including the Accommodation team. Communication on arrivals, departures, special occasions for guests and upsells with the Accommodation team and Manager is crucial to the role.

Competent computer skills.
Front of House Supervisor
The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for leading the Front of House team proactively. They must also act as customer ambassadors to the business by giving a warm welcome to all visitors and helping customers with their queries. They are expected to lead and motivate the team. A key support to the business, they will be expected to help and carry out tasks to a high standard and be hands-on.
