Set against Portmeirion’s stunning architecture, this annual Christmas Food & Craft Fair features stalls offering handmade crafts, delicious local food, and holiday decor.
ZIP WORLD SANTA’S GROTTO “ZIPMAS”
When: November 21 - December 24, 2024
Where: Zip World Llechwedd, Blaenau Ffestiniog (just next to Plas Weunydd)
Zip World brings you a unique holiday grotto experience underground! Ride a cable railway down to meet Santa, make a keepsake slate bauble, and enjoy festive drinks. You can even play Underground Grotto Golf to add to the fun!
FFESTINIOG RAILWAY: SANTA'S MAGICAL CHRISTMAS GROTTO AT HARBOUR STATION
When: December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22 & 23, 2024
Where: Harbour Station, Porthmadog (22 minutes from Plas Weunydd)
Step into a winter wonderland at Harbour Station, where one of the carriages transforms into a magical Christmas Grotto!
Also available is the "Elf Express" train, from Porthmadog to Minffordd and back! Just hop on the next train going, either before or after your visit to Santa. A variety of train ride options are available for incredible views over the landscape of North Wales, including the Christmas Mountain Spirit, pictured here, which starts near Plas Weunydd.
