Ride the Ffestiniog Railway ‘Harbourmaster’ starting from Porthmadog, with an hour and 45-minute break in Caernarfon to explore the food festival before returning via the train. 

The food festival takes place in and around the streets of Caernarfon town and features a fantastic mix of local produce, street food & drinks, craft stalls and live music – something for all the family to enjoy.

Returning to Portmeirion for the first time since 2019, come watch and play the legendary live-action videogame The Dark Room!

The Dark Room is a surreal interactive improv comedy gameshow fresh from a tour of the UK, The Netherlands and New Zealand. Featuring new deathtraps for 2025, and some special ones thrown in just for inhabitants of the Village. If you love strange things that are impossible to escape (and we know you do!) you’ll love this.

 

“NOT TO BE MISSED” Guardian

Where: Coed y Brenin Forest Park

How far away: 25 minutes

Riders will take on 1, 2 or 3 laps of a (roughly) 12km loop. The route is a hand-picked remix of Coed y Brenin’s finest trails. You don’t need to pick a distance before you start, simply ride 1,2 or 3 laps and your time is allocated appropriately. It’s a great way to ease into the year with a challenge that can be tailored to your riding ability and fitness goals.

This scavenger hunt is app-led, allowing you to start at any time without the need for a tour guide or reservation. Conwy Castle is a magnificent fortress that is considered to be one of the great examples of medieval military architecture in Europe. With eight massive towers and stone machicolations, its grandeur is unparalleled. A World Heritage Site, it offers breathtaking views of mountains and the sea.

Join Llyn Tegid Wardens, Simon and Arwel, for the Warden's Walk. The route climbs towards Bala Golf Club, leading onto open ground and up to the summit of Moel Garnedd. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of Llyn Tegid, the Arenig mountains, and Cader Idris. This guided walk will take about 5 hours and is a challenging route for experienced walkers.
